Entry requirements

Applicants must be a registered nurse on the live Register of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Applicants must also have a minimum of one-year post registration clinical experience within the last five years and be currently employed in health care provision or education. Applicants must hold a minimum of a bachelor honours degree (NFQ Level 8) (or equivalent) with a minimum of second-class honours, grade 2 (2:2) in a general, psychiatric, children's or intellectual disability nursing programme.
