Entry requirements

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree (NFQ Level 8) with at least a second-class honour, grade 2 (2:2) in a relevant discipline. Submit a formal declaration that you have reviewed the requirements of the Teaching Council of Ireland for the purposes of teaching in your chosen subject(s). This declaration confirms you Hold/will hold, by the date of commencement of the PME programme, a level 8 honours degre Have studied the relevant number of ECTS credits in the relevant subject area(s) as part of your degree Have studied higher-level degree content related to the subject area(s) in year 3 or 4 of your degree Have covered, as part of your degree, the mandatory topics/subjects as set out in the Teaching Council subject requirements Garda Clearance (for successful applicants)
